Information
In a Democracy, the public (the owner) must know everything happening in the circles of hired units at any moment.
The owner is not hiring the most valiant, intelligent, worthy, spiritual, ... person he knows... The hired unit is not being hired for his "personal worth". The hired unit is never worth more than any owner (imagine that!), he is never the "first man" or the "second lady" ... quite the opposite.
The hired are paid to work for the boss; difficult to work for the boss, if they think they are the boss...
Democracy puts somebody on a job but never trusts him. Trust is TOTALLY ABSENT from Democracy, on the contrary; as mentioned earlier, democracy is based on MISTRUST.
The only thing that democracy totally admits and trusts to be an unchangeable fact is that power and abuse of power are stuck together like the two sides of a coin.
Democracy is built upon that unchangeable fact.
Apparently all the founding fathers of Democracy had the same mental condition... paranoia... but the elected succeeded in curing us since. Now we can finally trust...
Information is the first prerequisite to be able to think.
Hiding information (we are not talking about downright lying or misinformation yet) from the owner, for whatever reason should be the definition of treason in Democracy, since it impaires the thinking and deciding abilities of the owner, like someone keeping him in the dark, to take over. The unit hiding information should be eliminated from the political scene and severely punished for not respecting the contract of being hired.
The reasons evoked for withholding information in times of peace, like "mass panic", "classified", "national security", "need to know", ..., which are only pretexts to withhold information and blind the owner to the whole picture, should automatically invalidate the principle of public rule.
These are not military terms during times of war.
These are civilian terms in times of peace.
No Democracy should allow their existence, but nawadays they have become ordinary terms used in everyday civil life, even in films and series, which are a way of "educating" the owner and his children...
ALL the units hired by the public and the units they hire in their turn, be it in the legislative, the executive senators, mayors, ... should directly inform the owner of eventual abuses.
The independent justice system and the independent mass media are in principle put there to expose any tentative to hide information from the owner.
That's the reason for the word "independent".
All and every information should be known to the public.
Of course we "know" that people who work for and are paid by the private channels and news companies, are great professionals in the analysis of the news and its presentation in a manner that is "good" for us.
Who are we to be able to choose or " process" information as they do? We should be thankful, happy and honored they are choosing and thinking for us, since we cannot think for ourselves... at least not as well as they can do it for us...
Is it logical to assume that a thinking organism arrives to a stage in his NATURAL evolution where he thinks no more and wants others to think for him? ...
It might be that whatever leniency we have extended to "professionals in information" to present personal opinions or conclusions, was a grave error.
No one should present opinions or conclusions.
All they should present is unbiased information.
The public is able to form its own opinion and reach its own conclusion, in spite of what he is made to think...
The public is the best decision maker when not "properly" frightened or "properly" aroused to hate.
Have we made sure that at least half the mass media is public, independent, well funded, impossible to buy or pressure, with its unhindered access to any information guaranteed by law, or have we done the unimaginable, which is to trust the privately owned mass media to expose what their owners want to hide...
The hired units are not there to think instead of the owner. The owner thinks for himself thank you, and can do a much better job if the right to information was not hindered by pretexts.
I saw a film once, where the boss of a Mexican gang asked a member of the gang: "gringo, one and one make how much?". When the "gringo" ansmered "two", the boss shot him on the spot and said: "He knows toooo much.
Information is capital to decide and act.
Without information you cannot act.
With misinformation you misact.
Any manipulation or "interpretation" of information is an act of deception used with supposed "enemies" only. In a democracy, being able to wothhold any information from the owner, lie to the owner by omission, or feed him "interpretations" should be unthinkable.
Caricaturized information IS misinformation.
Any information which was successfully hid from the owner undermines his power to the benefit of the under-miner. It becomes a danger which will cripple the owner. ALL hidden information should be exposed.
If the exposed information is embarrassing, the owner will fire the units responsible. This is the only way for the owner to clean house and take control, or else he is doomed to be a simple worker in his own property, witness his military power and nuclear bombs used without his consent to incinerate whole populations for which he will be held responsible, blamed and suffer the consequences alone, when the new "class" will be safely hiding, leaving him to face extreme retribution...
Alone...
