small conclusion
An only God, an only purpose, even the idea of creation should have united humanity in some way.
How can monotheisms make man forget the essential and fight over versions of ultimately the same thing? How can the "ultimately the same thing" see, allow and even encourage man to fight over versions of Himself?
An only God should serve the purpose of unity.
Why does monotheism serve the opposite purpose?
Maybe monotheisms are all about cultivating distinct identities and ways of life that are less about God and creation and more about being distinct, and about keeping their identities as distinct as possible...
Creating conflicts or fighting among ourselves to be in accord with our only creator should be the definition of insanity.
By promoting hostility among men, religions have proven that they are not the way to the creator; they are simply another way to form clans in a world of scarcity.
The day we realize that the creator "revealed" by monotheism and presented by the Genesis-Exodus only relates to a sort of poetry and/or wishful thinking which satisfies man's uncompromising desire to see some order, purpose or justice in a painfully limited life of painful limitedness in which he evolves...
That day will be the day...
